WELCOME TO 5th Grade

Hi, my name is Kimmy Riley! I am a passionate and dedicated 5th grade teacher who believes every student has the ability to learn, grow, and succeed. My goal is to create a positive, engaging classroom where students feel valued, challenged, and inspired to do their best each day.

Teaching 5th grade is especially rewarding because it is a time when students develop greater independence, strengthen their critical thinking skills, and prepare for the transition to middle school. I enjoy making learning meaningful through hands-on activities, collaboration, and real-world connections across all subject areas.

I am committed to building strong relationships with my students and their families, fostering a classroom community built on respect, kindness, and curiosity. I strive to encourage a love of learning while helping each student build the confidence and skills they need to be successful both in and out of the classroom.
