Hello, Pioneers!

I am Caleb Will and I am the Principal at Palestine High School. I was the high school mathematics teacher at PHS for the first seven years of my education career. I am moving to year SIX as the building administrator and am excited for the upcoming school year. 

 

Palestine CUSD #3 is known for its dedication to excellence and students and I will continue that tradition. I look forward to working with students in my new setting and hope my enthusiasm and energy are felt by all! 

 

Summer 2026 has more changes/updates that are exciting! The front steps at PHS will be reconstructed and new! We welcomed a new staff member in the middle of October by the name of Mr. Selorm Rockson who has taught our Biology classes for the year. His several years of experience teaching in Ghana, Africa will give him a great start in educating our students. We are glad he joined the Pioneer family!

As a reminder from last year, we updated several items in the handbook. The attendance policy, finals, and electronic device policy were the focus. Our personal data from last year shown we had less discipline concerns and higher overall GPA from our students due to less phone interruptions.  Research continues to link a negative impact on cellphone and academic success. Our continued policy will work as long as we are all on board. The goal is to grow academically and socially. With our current technology, safety measures, and policies,  there is no need for student cell phones in the classroom.

The vision of Palestine High School is to create an atmosphere where learning becomes a way of life, where students develop a work ethic and a sense of responsibility that will serve them well in any endeavor they pursue and where success is measured against potential. My goal is to promote success for all staff and students in the building. PHS students are held to a high standard and I will continue promoting growth for every student.
