Nasturtium flowers and seeds are edible. The seeds can be pickled and are known as Capers. "Hot pink nasturtium with double blooms is like candy for the eyes. High-voltage color, a perfect statement flower in the garden bed, borders, containers or on the plate. Perfectly piquant and peppery edible flower, you can also eat the leaves and immature seeds!" www.rareseeds.com
Start indoors (PHS students have done this for you!) and plant outdoors after last frost date of April 18th. Plant 8-12" apart. Not frost hardy. Plant in full sun with a minimum of 6-12 hrs of light.
